I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend. Mine was incredibly busy and as a result, exhausting. Thankfully, I’ve been able to put my feet up after the wonderful baby shower my family threw for my husband and myself. I’ll be posting pics of the screen-printed invites soon – I think they turned out pretty awesome! We received a lot of great little books to build our baby’s library but I have a feeling I’m going to love the books even more. You’ve got to admit – children’s books always have unique illustrations and the most simplistic approach to a story. It’s exactly how I try to execute anything I design.
Speaking of design, check out what’s been tickling my inspiration lately:
Say hello to my monster, Jessica Eyeseinson! Make your own at Create-A-Monster courtesy of Monsters University.
I love these minimal and clever IKEA ads.
Check out the redesigned Zazzle.com.
Teacher wears the same outfit for the yearbook photo 40 years in a row. There are no words to express how much I love this.
The branding for Young Seafood is so fun and engaging. Check it.
Man, I really need to get an awesomely branded identity for myself together. I’m diggin’ all the details of Sarah Buervenich’s identity system – especially the custom stamp.
And finally, Animals Talking in All Caps [Thanks for this, Laney!]
